Crescendo is a dance performance where three female bodies move together, sing together, labour together, listen together.

In Crescendo, choreographer Katrín Gunnarsdóttir wants to investigate the act of humming and singing through laborious tasks and its transformation into movement and choreography through ritual and breathing patterns. She is inspired by resonance, rhythm and how labour intensive choreographies reveal the relationship between action and its affect.
